Last Saturday, Prettypegs and Myrorna invited 12 of Sweden’s most renowned creatives to hack a used IKEA furniture. The purpose: To inspire people to extend the life time of their IKEA furniture by adding a personal touch. From November 1st, all hacks will be auctioned where the profit goes to Salvation Army’s work against human trafficking.
PrettyHackathon aims to inspire people to upcycle more furniture instead of buying new, and, to show how easy and fun it can be to create a personal home. This is why Prettypegs teamed up with Sweden’s biggest retail chain within second hand Myrorna. The hand picked influencers got to choose a used IKEA furniture to hack, then use material and tools of their own choice to make their take on the furniture piece.rn
The auction is active the 1st-12th of November. So, let's get inspired by all these pretty hacks and don't forget to bid on your favorite piece!
