Willow was born in Idaho, started her company in Idaho and is raising her family in Idaho. Being a busy wife, and mother of four little ones doesn’t mean a humdrum life with no design aesthetic. In fact, Willow is demonstrating every day how everyday extraordinary men and women are living with style that they have created themselves.
"I am a 42-year-old stay-at-home mom currently residing in a charming 4-bedroom rental home in a suburban enclave just outside Boise, Idaho, USA. Our delightful neighbourhood fosters connections with wonderful friends and neighbors, providing a perfect environment for our four children to play and grow. Nestled within a small community, our homes are set against the backdrop of farmlands, offering a serene and picturesque setting that I deeply appreciate. Our love for outdoor activities extends beyond recreation; it serves as a means to connect with and appreciate the natural world.
Excitingly, we are in the midst of realizing our dream as we embark on the journey of constructing a modern home on 25 acres of sprawling farmland. This incredible opportunity fills us with anticipation and joy."
"I would say that I have a very European style. More specifically, my style is modern Scandinavian, with clean, open spaces and beautiful, architectural lines. Natural light is extremely important to me. I feel as if I can usually change anything else in a home: painting walls, changing light fixtures, even remodeling kitchens, but if the natural light isn’t there, then nothing will replicate it. My aesthetic and general belief is that less is ALWAYS more, when it comes to interior style and design. I love color, but always in a muted and calming tone. As a busy mom, I’m constantly on the go, so to be able to come home to a welcoming and minimal space, is really important to me!

Embrace the Power of Odd Numbers: Whether styling shelves, creating a picture wall, or curating a vignette, odd numbers add an appealing visual charm.
Perfect Placement Matters: When hanging pictures or shelves, opt for a placement slightly lower than expected—around a few inches below eye level when sitting. This ensures a balanced view for everyone, as we tend to be closer in height while seated.
Embrace Minimalism: Less is More: Resist the urge to fill every blank space. After styling, take a step back, assess, and consider removing a few items. This simple act can dramatically enhance the overall aesthetics of your home, setting it apart from the rest."

I had a very generic Kallax piece from Ikea. It basically looked like a furniture piece that I could get at any department store. I added Hedvig Arch legs and it literally transformed the unit from boring to bold and beautiful. Before adding the Prettypeg legs to this unit, I felt the height of the unit was too low for my space, as well. Now it’s at a perfect height, and it looks like a showstopper piece. I get compliments for it all the time.

The fact that I can take furniture pieces and alter their entire appearance with legs/knobs and fronts is genius. When people look at my pieces now, they don’t think it’s “just IKEA” anymore. They actually ask where I got my furniture from?! I think Prettypeg’s has added distinction, uniqueness, quality, and creativity to my home. I am a happy customer!!
