How to prepare your IKEA IVAR before installation

Step-by-Step: How to Install IVAR Panels

Step 1: Prepare the cabinet

You can attach the panels while the doors are still mounted, but removing them makes the process easier since you can work on a flat surface. Lightly sand the front to smooth out uneven areas and help the adhesive grip properly. If there are small cracks or dents, apply wood filler, let it dry, and sand again until smooth.

Step 2: Clean the surface
