Frosta stool by Ellinor Halling

Ellinor is a Stockholm based leather designer that offers Scandinavian interior products and furniture in high quality leather. Her products are designed and manufactured by herself in her studio in Vasastan. All leather Ellinor works with stems from Swedish tanneries such as Tärnsjö leather, and have been processed in an ecological way.

You need following:

IKEA Frosta stool (Myrorna price 5 USD). From hardware house: Glue, black leather, foam, nail and a hammer (ca 30 USD). Curly grey sheepskin (from ca 90 USD). From Prettypegs: 4x Siri 220 black (99 USD). Total price for this hack ca 220 USD.

The project began with getting rid of the old legs and replace them with the new one. Further, the glue were put on the top of the chair to attach the foam. After that, the sheepskin were cut into the right size and attached with small nail. As a final step, the leather were  shaped like a “face” and “ears” similar to a sheep and attach with the small nail.
